SAT & PSAT Tests
The SAT and PSAT test are managed by College Board. You can find everything about registering and taking the tests on the College Board website.
GLOW Accountability Association – College Board Code or CEEB Code for SAT & PSAT is 412156
If you are not with GLOW Accountability, the general Homeschool code is 970000
SAT is used for college admissions and scholarships and can be taken any time during high school and should be taken no later than spring of the junior year.
PSAT/MMSQT is both a practice test for the SAT and a qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Learn more at the National Merit Scholarship website. The PSAT/NMSQT is offered in October for 10th & 11th graders.
PSAT 10 is the same test offered in the spring but does not qualify students for the National Merit Scholarship.
PSAT 8/9 measures the same skills but is geared toward 8th & 9th graders.
Test Sections – The SAT and PSAT tests have 2 sections: (1) the Reading and Writing section, and (2) the Math section.

ACT Test
The ACT Test is used for college admissions and scholarships. You can find everything about the registering and taking the test on the ACT website.
Test Sections – The ACT test consists of 4 multiple-choice sections – English, mathematics, reading, and science—with an optional writing section.
