High School Diplomas for Homeschoolers

Diplomas for homeschool graduate students are issued by the primary parent or guardian, aka the Homeschool Administrator. Parents can create their own Diploma. There are many templates available online and services that can print fancy diplomas.

GLOW Accountability Association Diplomas

Students who purchase an official GLOW Final Transcript can order a Diploma through GLOW with the Accountability Association seal and signature. GLOW Diplomas are available as a digital file that you can print yourself, or printed on high quality certificate paper protected by a cardstock diploma cover.

How important is a Diploma?

The high school transcript is the important document for college admissions. Diplomas are nice to have as a memento and are occasionally requested by a college or employer as proof of completing the high school course of study. More often the final transcript is requested as a follow-up to an in-process interim transcript.

Do homeschool graduates receive an official South Carolina High School Diploma?

No. The official “South Carolina High School Diploma” is a public school creation and can only be awarded by accredited PUBLIC high schools. Private schools and Homeschools create their own Diplomas.
